Here is a free-to-download collection of live recordings made during Shield Your Eyes concerts between Autumn 2010 and Spring 2015. Track Name: Tryna Lean A Ladder Up Against The WInd
Spain has arranged for the sun to shine some of her glow
Deep in November
Pretty to stand on a roof and look twelve floors below
Most those people look like they've got somewhere to go
Whether they do, whether they don't
Making sense of what i know
Can be like trying to lean a ladder up against the wind
But you give rise to hopes for
A worn down soul to mend
Track Name: Stand
Lifting things might serve you well
Ask yourself who wants your ground to stand
You ought to hope there’s enough salt in the sea
To hold up all the tankers of all your meant to be’s
Lifting things and putting them down
In a better place might prove your ground to stand
You can’t reach me, I can’t reach you
You can tell yourself that’s some ground to stand
And if someone, somewhen
Jammed the key in upside down
People since said it still turns
Sort of
Track Name: Fold
Sit down you shouldn't be so bold
And any hand that you deal me is a hand I'm going to fold
Damn right this tap just runs cold
And any hand that I deal you is a hand you're best to fold
Sit down you shouldn't be so bold
And any hand that I deal you is a hand you're best to fold
